Our Lifetime Limited SD Indestruct Bed™ Steel Core Support System Warranty (“Warranty”) extends to all SD Indestruct Bed Steel Core Support Systems (the “Product”) manufactured by Sleeping Duck that are purchased via sleepingduck.com directly, and does not extend to purchases via unauthorized retailers, resellers or other persons.
Components included in the SD Indestruct Bed Steel Core Support System Warranty are listed below:
- C-Spine Central Support Beams
- Steel Chassis L Support Beams
- M39 Ultrasecure Leg Assembly
- Uniform Distribution Air Support Panels
- L-Spine Trimount Headboard Brace
Persons covered by this Warranty
Our Lifetime Limited SD Indestruct Bed Steel Core Support System Warranty extends to the original purchaser only where the purchaser is the end user of the Product, and expires once the original purchaser ceases to own the Product. This Warranty cannot be transferred to another person and is not available to any person who acquires the Product for commercial purposes, for resale, or for use other than the Product's ordinarily intended use.
Scope of Warranty
Sleeping Duck provides this Warranty for our SD Indestruct Bed Steel Core Support System in its original packaging sold directly to you (the original purchaser purchasing the Product for personal use) against defects in materials, workmanship, and performance (“performance” as described in the section below regarding bowing and inability to assemble), from the date of delivery to you, provided the Product is used for its intended purpose and properly assembled and cared for.
What is covered by this Warranty?
This Warranty is limited to the following performance, manufacturing and material defects, subject to all limitations set forth in this Warranty:
- Permanent bowing of the Air Support Panels when assembled, greater than 10mm. (Up to and including 10mm bowing is normal and is not covered under this Warranty.)
- Physical damages resulting in the Product being unable to be assembled as designed, caused during the manufacturing, assembly, or shipping process.
- Visible manufacturing defects caused by faulty materials or workmanship.
This Warranty does not cover the following:
- General wear and tear
- Changes in comfort preferences.
- Damage caused by incorrect assembly or disassembly.
- Damage caused by improper use or abuse, including but not limited to dragging or moving the frame in an unsafe or unsupported manner, and using chemical cleaning products on the surface of the frame.
- Damage or accidents caused by third party services used at your discretion, including but not limited to: removalist or courier services, and cleaning services.
Making a claim
If you experience any of the listed defects and wish to make a Warranty claim, you must contact our customer service team with proof of original purchase. You can contact our customer experience team here.
Assessment of all Warranty claims takes place via email, and requires photo, video and/or audio files as deemed necessary by Sleeping Duck. Sleeping Duck does not make house calls and does not require the affected Product to be returned during the Warranty claim process.
What we will do
In the event of a successful Warranty claim, Sleeping Duck will replace the affected component to bring the SD Indestruct Bed Steel Core Support System to the warranted state. Sleeping Duck does NOT replace the entire Product unless necessary to bring the Product to the warranted state.
All replacement components will be shipped via our courier service and are required to be replaced for the affected component(s) by you. Sleeping Duck does not provide house calls or otherwise make repairs.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: EXCEPT FOR REPLACING THE PRODUCT PART(S) AS STATED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, SLEEPING DUCK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, WHETHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOST PROFITS, REPLACEMENT OR RENTAL EQUIPMENT, DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, AND THIRD PARTY CLAIMS, UNDER ANY THEORY OF RECOVERY, INCLUDING, CONTRACT, TORT OR STATUTE. NOTWITHSTANDING THE TERMS OF ANY IMPLIED OR LIMITED WARRANTY OR IN THE EVENT THAT THE LIMITED WARRANTY FAILS IN ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE, IN NO EVENT WILL SLEEPING DUCK’S ENTIRE LIABILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT. Our 12 month limited SD Indestruct Bed™ Artisan Skins Warranty (“Warranty”) extends to all SD Indestruct Bed™ Artisan Skins (the “Product”) manufactured by Sleeping Duck and purchased via sleepingduck.com directly, and does not extend to purchases via unauthorized retailers, resellers, or other persons.

Our 12 Month Limited SD Indestruct Bed Artisan Skins Warranty extends to the original purchaser, and only where the purchaser is the end user of the Product. It expires once the original purchaser ceases to own the Product. This Warranty cannot be transferred to another person and is not available to any person who acquires the product for commercial purposes, for resale, or for use other than the Product's ordinarily intended use.
Scope of Warranty
Sleeping Duck provides this warranty for our Indestruct Bed Artisan Skins in their original packaging sold directly to you (the original purchaser purchasing the Product for personal use) against defects in materials and workmanship for the period of 12 months, from the date of delivery to you, provided that the Product is used for its intended purpose and properly cared for.
What is covered by this limited Warranty?
This Warranty is limited to defects caused by faulty materials or workmanship, subject to all limitations set forth in this Warranty.
This limited Artisan Skins warranty does not cover the following:
- Damage due to improper use or abuse.
- Damage from incorrect assembly.
- General wear and tear, including but not limited to stains, marks, or scuffs.
- Colour variations within fabric finishes.
- Natural variations within wood colours, textures and patterns. Wood is a natural material and we are not able to guarantee that the finishes will perfectly match images on the website or be consistent within each component of the product.
- Damage or accidents caused by third party services used at the customer’s discretion, including but not limited to removalist or courier services, and cleaning services.

SD Mach II Mattress
10 Year Limited SD Mach II Mattress Warranty
Products covered by this warranty
Our 10 Year SD Mach II Mattress Warranty (“Warranty”) extends to all mattresses (the “Product”) manufactured by Sleeping Duck that are purchased via sleepingduck.com directly, and does not extend to purchases via unauthorized retailers, resellers or other persons.
Persons covered by this warranty
Our 10 Year SD Mach II Mattress Warranty extends to the original purchaser only where the purchaser is the end user of the Product, and expires once the original purchaser ceases to own the Product. This Warranty cannot be transferred to another person and is not available to any person who acquires the Product for commercial purposes, for resale, or for use other than the Product's ordinarily intended use.
Scope of warranty
Sleeping Duck provides this 10 Year Limited Warranty for the SD Mach II mattress in its original packaging sold directly to you (the original purchaser purchasing the Product for personal use) against defects in materials, workmanship, and performance (“performance” as described in the section below regarding sagging), for the period of 10 years, from the date of delivery to you. This is provided the Product is used for its intended purpose and properly assembled and cared for correctly as set out below:
- The mattress is designed to be used on a firm flat or slatted surface with grounded support. Use on a sprung base, adjustable base or any other base that does not adequately support the mattress will void the 10 year limited mattress warranty.
- The mattress should be strongly supported in both the width and length directions. Adequate support means the mattress should not sag, bow or bend under the weight of the individuals sleeping on it and the weight of the mattress itself.
- The maximum weight limit of each individual sleeper is 140kg (308lbs), anything above this weight will void the 10 year limited mattress warranty.
- Ensure there is grounded support for the mattress throughout the middle of the mattress and not just the edges so that the mattress is adequately supported. An inadequately supported mattress cannot perform and will void the 10 year limited mattress warranty.
Examples of requirements are in the attached images below:

- If using a firm flat surface, the thickness of the surface should be a minimum of 1.5cm (0.59 inches), so that it doesn’t bow or bend under the weight of the mattress and those sleeping on it.

- Using a slatted base where the distance between the slats are greater than 12cm (4.72 inches) will void the 10 year limited mattress warranty. Gaps wider than 12cm (4.72 inches) will leave a significant number of springs unsupported and will affect both the feel and longevity of the mattress. A distance of 12cm (4.72 inches) between the slats will provide adequate support, however 8cm (3.15 inches) or less is recommended for optimal performance.

What is covered by this Warranty?
This Warranty is limited to the following performance, manufacturing and material defects, subject to all limitations set forth in this Warranty:
- Body indentations or sagging greater than 30mm (1.18 inches). A mattress has a break in period where it will conform to your body's natural contours and weight. Up to and including 30mm (1.18 inches) is perfectly normal and is not covered under this limited mattress warranty.
- Physical damages resulting in the mattress being unable to perform as designed, caused during the manufacturing, assembly, or shipping process including; stitching unravelling, zipper damage, and disintegrating foams.
- Visible manufacturing defects caused by faulty materials or workmanship.
This Warranty does not cover the following:
- Changes in firmness preferences. If your firmness needs or preferences change over time it is not covered by this limited mattress warranty. Should you need to adjust your firmness, new Precision Pads can be purchased in your desired firmness.
- Damage caused due to the use of an inadequate base.
- Natural odour of the foam materials used in our mattress.
- Damage due to improper use or moving the mattress.
- Body indentations less than 30mm (1.18 inches).
- General wear and tear.
- Damage or accidents caused by third party services used at your discretion, including but not limited to: removalist or courier services, and cleaning services.
