The timber used in our SD Indestruct Bed™ is made from high-quality materials derived from natural sources, which have received various certifications, such as Programme for the Endorsement of Forest and Forest Stewardship Council Certifications.

As a result, our timber will have their own unique grain pattern, color and tone. The textures and imperfections on each piece of timber tell the story of the tree it came from - just like no two trees are the same, so too with the SD Indestruct Bed™. As timber is an organic material, it’s completely normal for it to age and for the color to mature with time!

We’ve sealed the timber to prevent any moisture buildup. Any spillages or liquids should be wiped off immediately with a damp cloth, keeping the timber exposed at room temperature to allow it to dry.

When it comes to our upholstered finishes, be careful of transferring dye from denim or dark clothing. Minor stains or discoloration can be treated with a small amount of gentle household detergent and warm water. Gently blot, dab it dry with a clean paper towel or cloth and allow it to dry.

Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme humidity, as this can cause the materials to fade. While we have tested all our fabrics with scotch guard, we’d always recommend a patch test first!

As our SD Indestruct Bed™ is available in various sizes, styles and finishes, you'll find the specifications can differ depending on your selection.

The SD Indestruct Bed™ has a clearance from the floor to the bottom of the frame of approximately 6.2” with our Classic wooden leg option and 7.8” with our Tall wooden leg option. Keeping in mind that our wooden legs are height adjustable (up to 1.9”) to ensure perfect leveling.

Our SD Indestruct Bed™ comes with a lifetime warranty on the Indestruct Steel Core Support System components and a 12-month limited warranty on all exterior components (headboard/side panels). This provides ample time to discover any issues that may be the result of production errors. This should not be confused with the lifespan of a product.

Our warranties are non-transferable, and do not cover the following:

• Damage from incorrectly dragging or shifting the bed
• Damage caused by improper installation or misuse
• Damage by natural disasters such as flooding, hurricanes, or bushfires
• General wear and tear, such as stains, marks, or scuffs

In order to investigate a warranty claim, Sleeping Duck will require photos of the issue at hand. Please note that warranty fixes will not return the SD Indestruct Bed™ to the same condition it was brand new, but will return it to a condition that is suitable for the time used since purchase.

Yes! Our SD Indestruct Bed™ has been tested for levels of formaldehyde, lead, cadmium, phthalate and PBT, Flame Retardant chemicals listed under California Proposition 65.

Our upholstered finishes have also been treated to pass flame resistance requirements under California TB 117 and our timber is coated in a low VOC water-based sealant.

Our SD Indestruct Bed™ is compatible with standard US sized spring, foam and hybrid mattresses. Providing unwavering support, you can rest assured that your mattress is well taken care of.
