the mattresses are awesome, we seem to have issues with their base sliding and losing pillows to the abis, which is really annoying considering the price of the combo. even on other bases we seem to have the same issue.

Sadly we're a bit disappointed. From all the positive reviews we had high expectations for our Sleeping Duck mattress. The mattress took months to off-gas and my partner slept in the other room due to headaches from the smell. We also had purchased because it appeared that the topper was customisable in smaller parts but realised that only long full length toppers are included now—so each person can choose a firmness level, but it can't be customised head to toe. We had liked the idea that we could mix and match to find our perfect combo but that's not how it works anymore.

The delivery service is really great and very convenient for moving house. The mattress itself is ok, but not great. A sprung mattress is superior, and while the SD mattress feels comfortable, I can't quite pinpoint what it is, but i haven't slept well on it compared to my much cheaper deep dream mattress in a box we had before. If you can afford a sprung mattress for a similar price, i'd say go with one of them. otherwise if you want to dave money, go with a deep dream mattress for a third of the price.

I have trouble sleeping...anywhere, as I have a lot of constant pain, everywhere. My wife likes the new mattress, but she prefers a softer pillowtop, which we have added.

Not finding the mattress firm enough.

I have no complaints with the base construction it's very solid or the actual mattress (Firm) both give a very satisfying sleep. My only comment is, it is the most difficult bed we have owned when it comes to the making of the bed in particular the " Hospital Corners ", in the main this is due to the weight of the mattress when lifting and tucking in the sheet and blanket , for us it is a two person job , also the lack of finger space between the base and mattress. When we visited the showroom this is something we should have taken into consideration. A final comment from a design point of view, grab handles on the head and foot could assist with the bed making, also improve movability of the mattress if you moving home.

It's very comfortable, but there's a hard spot on it. It's not awful, but it means sleeping on some parts of it is uncomfortable.

I think my mattress needs to be firmer. My hip and back and not responding well to it.

First week the mattress smelt bad Second week I kept falling to the middle even though the base is higher in the middle. Third week my back was hurting again on it and fourth week I couldn't get to sleep. If I didn't throw away my previous mattress then I would have sent it back

Love a lot of things about it but the price might be a bit high for what you get
